Rumors have it that there are two marriages this month: Jonathan Welfeld, and Ben Katz.
Some Alumni members from the class of '85 showed up to the CES/JDS 30th Anniversary Celebration. They were: Ron Abrams, Hillel Steinberg, Debbie Fonner, Sandra Levine, Edina Rothschild, Rochelle Lieberman, and Cathleen Becker. Nearly 1000 students, staff, parents, and Alumni showed up to the event at Bnai Israel, and a good time was had by all. For those of you who were in for the full 13 years, there was quite a complement of teachers from those formative years. Masha Cohen, Masha Speigel, and Mrs. Kagen were there, as well as many of the old principals and head masters. Dr. Elster and Mrs. Simmons were there to our surprise. Three from the first class of the Solomon Schechter School were also there. The rest are in Israel where they attended the Israel 30th Reunion Celebration a few months before.
