And now:
(Updated: 07/01/96)
Hey guys and gals. Yes, I'm the creator of the CES/JDS '85 Alumni pages. This follows directly from the fact that I have been doing quite a lot of computing since our graduation in 1985. I obtained my B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science at the University of Maryland in College Park. I have also worked for TRW for 7.5 years doing everything from Satellites to real-time Virtual Reality Environments. Just recently, however, I have switched to another smaller company with more leg room. I have been happy with both my University and TRW experiences. On Al Gore's Information Superhighway I moderate a free Jewish Singles List Service called JSML , I have my own Shareware software called COM-G-TAB, and now with this alumni home page, I have my own Web content to manage, Yahoooooooo !!!
I met a wonderful gal named Nadine just before finishing up my Graduate work, and we got married two years later. Nadine and I moved out to Virginia (G-D give us strength) where found a lovely spot near Sterling, in a new community called Cascades. It's a long commute to almost anywhere, but it's very pretty here. Then, in December of '95 we became parents. Our little daughter's name is Kayla, and she is small but cute. She just turned 1, and now walks with the authority of someone who has been walking for ages. We, like our parents, wonder how our kids will end up with a Jewish education at the current cost of private learning today. We still have time to work this out.
If you were in my class during any of the 13 (!!!!!) years that I spent at JDS, then please create or update your BIO. I can be reached by Email at: hillels@erols.com . You can also take a look at my resume. My brother is also on the net at the Technion in Israel.
Update: 09/09/97
On September 3rd we moved back to Maryland. Although the town home in VA was beautiful, there are other, more important qualities which draw us back - family, friends, and education. Hopefully, this will be our last move for a while. Maybe in a few years we will actually be unpacked?!?!?
Update: 03/25/99
On October 7th, 1998 we had a son, Adam Michael, who is very cute, and quite different from Kayla. He is taller, bigger, and quite easy going.
