This website continues to go ignored by me (sorry) but it also continues to bring us together in beautiful ways! Case in point, I recieved an email from a young woman named Sarah Green. She said she came across the site and was interested in catching up. WHO?!?! you ask? Oh sorry, I should have used her jds name - Sarah Gastfreund!

Sarah got married on July 4, 2004 to Todd Green. She is now working as a special needs teacher in Atlanta and she says she is loving it!

Rebecca & Aaron Kotok are the proud parents of a new baby girl! Ella Sadie Kotok - born at 12:06 A.M. (EST).

She weighed in at 7lbs, 2 oz and is 18.5 inches long.
Mom, Dad and Baby are resting and are doing great!

JDS is gearing up for a 40th anniversary celebration on May 26th, which will honor Roz Landy for her 20+ years of service to the school.

When: Thursday, May 26, 2005 - Alumni Reception at 6:00, Community-Wide Celebration at 7:00

Where: JDS Upper School

Why: Celebrating the first 40 years of JDS and honoring Dean and Upper School Principal Roz Landy

Here's some really good news from Becky Schnitzer-Kotok... she's pregnant, due in January! No stunning ultrasound pics just yet but she promises to share them when she gets them!

As you can see, Debbie got married to Dan Stillman on May 23, 2004. They met through Yael -- she and Dan (and Alia and Becky and others) all worked at JCC camp together years ago. Anyway, she introduced them 4 years ago and, as they say, the rest is history. Yael was a bridesmaid at the wedding, and also in attendance from our class were Sara (Bresnick Tennen), Alia, and Dina.

Debbie is currently the Associate Director of Washington Operations for the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW). She is a lobbyist and grassroots organizer on progressive issues of concern to the Jewish community and to women and families. Dan is a science writer for the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies and also does freelance science and weather writing for the Washington Post.

Debbie also told me that Michal Marcus is a lawyer working for a patent law firm.

And Yael just got her Masters in Arts Administration from American U. She's now looking for a job in DC.

Erica is moving to Chicago, Illinois. Barry will be attending Business School in Evanstown.
